Thailand - Bangkok - Day 6
We got up early and got ready. Had our breakfast downstairs and then checked out of the hotel. We had booked a cab for the airport and he was there on time to pick us up.
We reached the airport well in time. Checked in our bags and then waited at the airport for our flight back to Bangkok.
The flight was on time. I was a short 1 hour 15mins flight to Bangkok. On reaching there was booked a cab via the "GRAB" app and made our way to the hotel.
We were all excited to see this hotel as it was 5 star rated and the pictures looks very tempting. When we reached there the hotel was very grand. It was on a kind of a dead street there were no local shops or places to walk to. There was no spa service in the hotel. We all were disappointed with that as everyone wanted to get a massage done.
We got fresh and then decided to visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Booked a grab taxi and it cost us about 200 Baht to get there. We explored the local market. We had some food and then we shopped around a bit more. The local market closed at 6pm.
We then went to Central Ladprao Mall. The kids liked this mall a lot more as it was a lot more modern and to their liking rather than the local street shops without any air conditioning!
We went to Uniqlo and got a lot of stuff. We got things at a very good price and we bought clothes and accessesories. We then had some food at the food court.
By the time we finished it was almost 10pm and the mall was closing as well. So we book a Grab taxi, and came back to the hotel.
Our room was 2411 onn the 24th floor. We got fresh and then slept.
