Barbados (Hotel Stay) - Day 3

It was a nice warm morning and we all woke up early. Niki had a slight cough and I gave her warm tea in the morning to soothe the coughing. I went down to the petrol station and got her some Panedol (paracetamol).

We had plans to go out snorkeling today, but given Niki's health we decided to stay back in the hotel and take rest. For breakfast we had some bakery and bananas. Niki started feeling better and we went down to sit near the pool. But, there was a quick shower and we moved  into the lobby. We sat there for a while and then decided to come back to the room.

We went to the Indian grill shop for lunch today. We tried the chicken roti and the chicken curry with rice. The portions were absolutely massive. We were very full after the meal. Niki was still sluggish and we came back to the room and had a quick nap.

After the nap, Niki was feeling better so we went down to sit down by the beach. Nimi and Niki still wanted to play in the sand. Niki was not coughing as much and she was having fun by the sand. Deepika had got some Corona beer and we enjoyed it sitting down at the beach watching the sunset.

For dinner we tried the Wrap place and got a couple of wraps. They were good but very small. We will not be going back there.

Having spent the day at the hotel, we realised that although Barbados was a beautiful place, it was still under developed and had a feeling of still under the colonial rule. We wondered if we would come back here again.

The hotel Radisson was also not the best. It was selling itself just by the brand name, but there was nothing inspiring about the hotel at all. It was very small, with no games or activities for the guests. Very less food options and the masking policy was a pain.
