Thailand - Phuket - Day1

Our flight from Delhi was at 11:40am so we all got up early and got ready. We had bread omlette for breakfast. I then booked an Uber to the airport. It cost us Rs. 1150 and we got a comfortable 6 seater and the ride was very smooth as there was not much traffic due to Ambedkar Jayanti holiday. We checked in our luggage and cleared security and were ready to board the flight.

The Thai Airways flight to Bangkok was on time. We had got the 4 middle row seats. We had food and watched some movies and the 4 hours flight was completed in no time. We then had to catch our next flight to Phuket. We had to clear customs, collect our bags and then go the the departure gate on the 4th floor and again check in our luggage.
To our surprise this entire process took us less than 45mins. And we had booked the next flight at 9pm and it was just 7pm now. We sat down at the McDonalds and had some food. The health of both Nimi and Niki was getting better and they had some food. We boarded out flight and reached Phuket at 11pm. The taxi service was excellent at the airport. They had fixed fares for different parts of the city. For Patong it was 800 Baht, did not matter which hotel it was.
It took us about an hour to reach our hotel. To be honest I did not like the area in which the hotel was located. Niki was hungry so we went out to a local place and had some pad thai. We then came back to the hotel and slept.
