Abu Dhabi - Dubai - Day 3

 We all woke up very late. I got up at almost 11am and the kids got up past noon. I had some tea and waffles and then we got fresh and ready for our travel to Dubai.

We have 2 days stay booked at the Novotel World Trade Centre in Dubai. We ordered some biryani using Deliveroo. After having our food we packed our stuff and then started our journey to Dubai. It was 2 days in a row that we would be driving to Dubai from Abu Dhabi. We left for Dubai at almost 3pm and given the traffic conditions it took us about 2 hours to drive to Dubai Mall.

You could see a lot of rash driving on the way, but that is the way it goes over here I guess., We parked inside the mall in Cinema Parking. Parking was free inside the mall for 4 hours. We went inside the mall and roamed about. On the waterfall side we saw the water show and Burj Khalifa light show. The show was stunning and it was great to be here at this time to witness the city in all its grandeur.

We then went to the food court to have some nibbles. Niki and Nimi had their burgers and we had some Korean chicken with rice. Deepika had called Manu to the mall to meet with us. After a bit of walking around the mall we finally met up.

Manu took us out to Bur Dubai for food. As it was pretty late a lot of the places were closing down but still there were a lot of food joints that were still open and we had some good Indian dhaba food.

After finishing our food we then dropped Manu at his place and drove our way to Novotel World Trade Center. It was almost 2am in the morning by the time we got into our room. Without doing much we quickly changed and went to sleep.
