Greece - Kefalonia - Argostoli - Day 3

Got up at about 7am and then we all got ready in our own time. We went for breakfast and this time we all had enough food to fill us all up. 

Went  down to have breakfast. Today the kids also had some food and were much better filled up. The weather was a bit cloudy so we all went back to our room. After a while Nimi, Niki and I went back to the lounge area and we played battleship. Deepika slept for a while and rested.

At about 1pm we all decided to go to the city center. The capital of the island is Argostoli. The sun was out in the afternoon and we had a nice walk along the promenade. Nimi wanted to have waffles and after a bit of scouring the place we managed to find a place that did amazing waffles. We all had waffles to our hearts content.  

We were about to drive back when we saw the main city center. We parked the car and again went for another walk. There were people catching fish, and the main city piazza was massive. 

There was not much crowd at this time  of the year. Hence most of the shops were closed, and the food options were limited, but still there were enough shops open to make the place attractive. We need to visit the place in the evening as the shops were being set up for the evening. 

There was ample free parking along the promenade. and the place was well built for pedestrians. After spending time there we drove back to our resort. 

We decided to cook chicken curry and rice. It took us about 30 mins to cook dinner. We all enjoyed the food. We watched a couple of episodes of Friends and then went to sleep.
