Portugal - Albuferia - Day 12

 Niki and I got up early today. It was another sunny day with highs of 29 degrees. Today was mostly going to be a lie-in day. Nimi was feeling a lot better today. When everyone was up, we had bread toast and jam for breakfast. We had our morning coffee as well. 

After that, we went for a walk outside the resort. We tried to see if there are any exciting places around here, but after walking about 20mins, we did not find anything so walked back to the resort. We did find some amazing 4 star resorts right next to us though.

We then went to the games room and Nimi and Niki played some ice hockey. The girls enjoyed it a lot. We came back to the room after that and we had plans to have pasta for lunch today. We had been very good so far to manage all our meals at home the entire week. 🥘

After having food, we took some rest, the kids watched a movie. In the afternoon the girls wanted to go back to the games room to play some more ice hockey. Nimi even played some pool, where I taught her some basics about aiming and potting. She observed things keenly and learnt very quickly. 

We then came back to the room and went to the pool side for a while. The girls jumped into the pool and swam for about 40 mins, before we called them back.

For dinner we had rice, daal, and potato fry. Deepika thought it was too much potato to eat, but the girls gobbled it up and in fact we both did not get to eat as much as we would have liked! 

I then filled up the online passenger locater form that is needed by UKBA to track and trace anyone coming into the UK, due to coronavirus. I even checked in to our flight. 

One memorable thing today was we ordered the iMac for the office today. After waiting for over a month for a suitable machine to be available finally this one became available and Sambit was also at hand to order. He placed the order immediately and the delivery will be on Wednesday 2nd September. I am so looking forward to it. 

In the night, we watch some Netflix, before going to bed.
