Day 5 - Daytona Beach Outlet - Florida

It was a nice bright sunny day in Savannah. We got fresh and went to have breakfast, although there were a few more options we did not have a lot of food. We dropped off the room keys at the reception and then started our drive towards Florida.

We decided to go the Tanger Outlet in Daytona beach. It was just 1 mile off our route and we would have something to do on the day. It took us about 3 hours to reach there. It suited us fine as the outlet opened at 10am.

We checked out a few of the outlets there and then shopped at Tommy and Old Navy. We all bought something from the outlet. We spent over £400 shipping!!

Even managed to spot a Crypto ATM at the sopping mall.

We then sat down to have a bite. We had a drink and some hot honey chicken tenders. They were really nice and we were full from the food.

We then started our drive to Orlando. It was only an hour away. The temperature was about 31 degrees and as soon as we checked in to Holiday Inn the kids jumped into the swimming pool. I had booked the hotel entirely out of the points we had in the account. It was amazing to finally be able to use the points we had been accumulating over the years.

We got fresh and then we decided to go out for a walk to explore the local areas. we found a 7 Eleven, Papa Jones, Baskin Robbins and Walmart.

Walmart although was a couple of blocks away, was still very far so we decided to walk back to the hotel and pick up our car. We went to Walmart and did some groceries shopping. Walmart was massive.

It was good fun just buying groceries from there.

After a lot of discussion about dinner we finally decided to eat some pot noodles. We got them from Walmart and heated them up in the room. After dinner we went to bed.
